comeback - yes or no or maybe?!
Right, the Swedish band Roxette was announced as headliner at Nokia Night of the Proms earlier this year (in May, to be exact).
Of course I was very much excited about it because it's the band of my teens. Their last 'real' album dates from 2001; afterwards there were a lot of best-of's because of health reasons. Now my happyness about the whole thing cooled down quite a bit. I don't really like classical music. Another point is that for me participating at the NNOTP is something for bands that are close to retirement. I got a ticket for the show in Munich but I'm close to sell it again. I can't really make up my mind yet.

A lot of fans got over-happy with the whole NNOTP-thing and they keep on speculating IF there will be a complete new Roxette-album (I still don't believe it). The song writer keeps recording new demos- he says so on twitter. We don't even know for which of his various projects they're meant- it might be Roxette but it could be for another solo project. All I really know is that we heard some "lalala's" and "nanana's" when we were waiting infront of his studio. I just hope he finally said goodbye to synthis and computer beats and invites a bunch of good musicians to the studio...
