7:00 p.m. - 2008-09-01 It was nice at first sight; we seem to be the nice family- Mum and Dad retired and both my bro and me successful in our jobs. The truth is my Dad is quite a difficult character. Nobody would believe that he's able to freak out completely. It can really be scarry. I was at his wrath as well a few times but now it's only my Mum... I told her that she doesn't have to put up with him and finally she told him off once when they were on holiday. I was glad that she did on one hand but on the other hand it's sad that she needs to be told and that she had to do it. She even told me that she would be able to afford her own little flat if my Dad would get even worse- I mean, they are married since 38(!) years but my Mum finally has the courage to answer him back! Sad that it took her such a long time... Then my Mum asked me the same questions as always - if I was happy, if I was lonely, if I had found some friends in the new area where I live now. I told her that there is nothing to worry about; I take quite a long time until I get friends with people because of bad experience in the past. Then she asked again if I was in love with my male friend from Geneva and I laughed and told her that no because he reminds me faaaar too much of my Dad. I told her that I don't need a lover to be happy in my life - of course, meeting my soul-mate would be great but if it doesn't happen it's not so bad either. :-D
